How to Use SEO Toolbar ‘SEOquake’ For Website Evaluation

seo-quakeSEOquake is a powerful and efficient SEO Toolbar. It could be added to your website for website evaluation.  SEOquake will evaluate all the Web pages that you visit with a  number of critical parameters. These include a diagnosis function, an evaluation of your keyword density and standard benchmarks already existing for website evaluation. The SEOquake toolbar includes:

Google’s PageRank: Page Rank is an algorithm used by Google Search to rank websites in their search engine results. This measurement of general website strength uses a logarithmic scale of 1 to 10. Like the earthquake scale, the difference between PR3 and PR4 is a lot greater than between PR1 and PR2. PR3 is a very respectable score; PR4 is more common for SEO companies

Primary meta tags, diagnosis function: This one of the ways by which you can evaluate your website.  The diagnosis function is located at the far right of the SEOquake toolbar (you probably have to scroll on the toolbar to find it). It evaluates the proper length for the title, keyword and description tags. The title tag for each page appears at the top of your browser window or anyone else visiting the page. It is a critical element for search engines.

Alt tags, diagnosis function: All your images should include alt tags in the coding. These tags can help to define your image and improve your ranking for whatever descriptive words you select. Alt tags represent a basic coding requirement, and if your developer does not include them in your coding, you need to rectify this immediately.

Secondary meta tags, diagnosis function: The diagnosis function also checks to see if you have included secondary meta tags such as geo tags and Dublin core tags. You should make sure to include these in your coding to get a marginal advantage over your competitors.

Alexia traffic rank: This number ranks websites from the best (1) to scores in the millions. It is more sensitive than the PageRank indicator.

Website programs: The diagnosis function will also check to see if you are using certain coding functions to improve the analysis and ranking of your website. These include Google Analytics, XML sitemaps and your robots.txt file. Using an XML sitemap and robots.txt files are primarily used for search engine optimization.

Gzip: Gzip compression is used by your server to reduce the loading time and improve your website performance. Various servers handle this function in different ways, and you need to call your website hosting company for more information.

Favicon: A favicon is a 12×12 pixel image that will appear at the top of the browser window for your website. It is usually a company logo or related image.,
